Full Shannon Airport plans to be unveiled within days

The government appears to have a slight delay in it’s plans to announce a decision on the future of Shannon Airport.

Transport Minister Leo Varadkar has confirmed to the Dáil that the future of Clare’s international airport has been discussed by cabinet, but says a couple of details need to be worked out before full plans can be disclosed.

Sources have indicated to Clare FM that they expect this to take only a matter of days.
