Fianna Fáil's Michael Mc Donagh is reacting to the Government's budget announcement which he says failed to put measures into place to look after the people of rural Clare.

The Clare GAA County Board Chairman believes that there's too much reliance on the mid-west airport and he fears that if the tourism industry collapsed, there would be nothing left to sustain the workforce here.

Michael has questioned how the Government can justify spending 1.5 billion euro and he fears this budget will "close down rural Ireland".
