Around 30 students at Clonlara Primary School have seen their travel plans disrupted following the closure of a bridge on a busy road.
The Cloontra East Bridge on the R471 Clonlara to Sixmilebridge Road was closed with immediate effect on Monday as a result of structural damage.

The bridge is on a bus route for Clonlara School, and Bus Eireann says its contractor is not in a position to supply a second smaller bus to transport the children.
