A Clare rights activist has expressed serious concern after the Disabilities Minister said he is ‘helpless’ to progress their rights.
Ann Marie Flanagan was among a delegation from Clare who have met with Minister of State Finian McGrath to outline concern over the treatment of people with disabilities by the state.

They’re seeking the ratification of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities – which was adopted by the UN 11 years ago.
