A motorist is facing possible disqualification after Clare Gardaí seized a defective vehicle.
During a routine patrol, members of the Road’s Policing Unit pulled over a Black Audi A3 after it triggered a no insurance alert.

It subsequently emerged the driver was unlicensed and a roadside check confirmed that all four tyres had below the legally required minimum tread depth.
The motorist will face court at a later date and possible penalty points , fines or disqualification upon conviction.
