The man who will lead out Inagh-Kilnamona on TUS senior hurling final day says they were determined this year to get back to the big day.
Their prize for dethroning the champions Eire Óg is a place in the decider for the second time in their history and a showdown with neighbours Kilmaley.
Aidan McCarthy landed 0-13 for his side along with setting up Fred Hegarty for the match clinching goal.
He says they were driven to ensure that nothing was going to prevent them from progressing
Meanwhile Kilmaley’s Conor Cleary says they showed great composure to advance to the final for the first time since 2004.
It will be just a third final appearance for the club since their maiden title in 1985, while they lost the 1998 decider to Doora Barefield.
Cleary feels the squad will be ready for their chance to make their own history
