It’s claimed the cost of fuel could prevent people in Clare from taking to the roads if another fuel protest was called tomorrow.
It follows a meeting of The People of Ireland Against Fuel Prices last evening, which heard calls for the abolition of the Carbon Tax.

Speaking in Ennis yesterday, the Taoiseach said a wide range of measures to help alleviate pressure on families will be included in next week’s Budget.
Clare Fuel Protest organiser Cathal O’Donoghue says there’s little public optimism that the Budget will deliver adequate support.
