Clare Dog Warden Urges Vigilance Over Lambing Season

Dog owners in Clare are being urged to remain vigilant as lambing season comes into effect.

The period generally peaks from March to the end of April and is often the busiest birthing season on farms.

In Ireland, penalties for dogs attacking or worrying sheep can result in fines of up to €5,000.

Clare County Dog Warden Frankie Coote says it’s in the best interest of pet owners to be on their guard.
