Clare’s Dog Warden is advising people to ensure their dogs are vaccinated against Parvovirus.
The disease is spread from direct contact with animal faeces or surfaces that have come in contact with waste.

If left untreated, fatality rates among dogs can reach as high as 91%, with a booster vaccine also required each year.
