A Clare-based carer has been honoured for her dedication and consistently high standards of care.
Irene Devitt, from Newmarket-on-Fergus, has been named a regional winner in the Comfort Keepers Carer of the Year Awards, after being selected as one of 18 finalists from across the country.

Comfort Keepers Ireland is an award-winning homecare and support service that helps people live independently in their own homes and communities safely, while maintaining connection, dignity, confidence, and joy.
Speaking to Clare FM’s Morning Focus, Irene said the award means a great deal to her personally, but also highlights the work of carers who show up every day and make a huge difference in their clients’ lives.
