Close to €100,000 has been awarded to the Clare Local Community Safety Partnership to support community safety projects across the county.
€71,250 will go towards the Building Safer Communities in Clare programme, with €27,500 allocated to Clare’s Halloween Safety Campaign.

The funding was announced by Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan and will support work by local communities, organisations and statutory agencies.
The fund is primarily financed through proceeds of crime seized by the State, with the money being reinvested in communities.
