Clare are Munster U20 hurling champions for the first time since 2014.

They edged out Tipperary in a sudden death penalty shootout to claim the title with Mark Sheedy saving three times while also scoring one.

It was a game that saw the sides level on 12 occasions over the course of more than 80 minutes of action with no side ever leading by more than four points at any stage of the game.

Clare had no wide in the opening half and only registered two in normal time, with Tipperary much more wasteful in missing the target on 13 occasions in the opening half alone.

Clare will face either Galway or Kilkenny in this years All Ireland Final.
