Clare on Tuesday 19th May 2015 at 8pm. Pauline Dunne, Dietitian with Diabetes Ireland, will speak at the event. She joined us on the show to outline tonight's main talking points including the common confusion between the terms ‘carbohydrates’ and ‘sugars’ with most people only considering sugars to be important. Next, Nenagh's Patrick Treacy, Member of the Senior Council and One of a group of Lawyers voting No in the Marriage Referendum outlined his views ahead of Friday's vote. Patrick concerned about the effects of a Yes vote. In a statement the Group of Lawyers advocating a NO vote, including Patrick say that a female homosexual couple can only procreate with donor sperm and a male homosexual couple would require a donor egg and a surrogate mother. They say there is a strong argument that these practices will enjoy constitutional protection if this referendum proposal is passed.
