Then we discussed small businesses’ difficulty securing a loan with Neil McDonnell of Irish Small and Medium sized Enterprise (ISME).

Rounding out the first hour Ed Donnelly, G.A.A. Communications Officer talked Munster final tickets.

Opening our second hour was show regular, Dr. Toby Sachsenmaier with our parenting advice segment. This week on top of answering your queries and questions, Dr. Sachsenmaier focused on video games.

Then, sticking with youths, the show heard from Youth Advocacy Programmes or YAP. The organisation which helps young people with issues such as self-esteem and academics by pairing each young person and their family with a local volunteer is currently looking for more volunteers. At the end of hour number two Dr. Donal McManus from the Irish Council for Social Housing Chief Executive talked about the possibility of replacing nursing homes with government supported housing schemes.

Going into the show’s final hour singer/songwriter, Seán Keane stopped by to announce his new album: ‘Gratitude’.

Then, Met Éireann talked about the possibility of an upcoming heat wave for this weekend.

Then, a Clare woman, Noelle Comyn made history being the first woman to referee a men’s hurling game in New York. A former All-Star in ladies football and ex-player for Clare and Dublin, Noelle chatted all things G.A.A. in the U.S.A. with Gavin.
