The Government is being urged not put a price on life amid serious road safety concerns on Clare’s N67.
Residents of Leadmore in Kilrush have been campaigning for footpaths and streetlighting outside their homes for over half a century, however their requests have been consistenly denied due to funding issues.

There have been four fatal incidents there in recent years, along with several serious collisions, with speeding and visual obstructions the main concerns for locals.
Local Resident John McInerney says they don’t want another death on their road.
