Clare Minister Insists New Plan Will Speed Up Housing Delivery

Clare’s Minister of State insists a new government strategy will speed up judicial reviews and expedite housing delivery in this county.

It comes as the coalition has published a 30 point plan to advance critical infrastructure projects.

The first objective listed in the ‘Accelerating Infrastructure Action Plan’ is to reform judicial reviews.

The Government says it will cap the costs of what the state and other parties pay in environmental cases, and ensure there is an element of jeopardy for applicants.

Judicial reviews could also be limited to people who would be directly affected by a development only.
