One of the oldest competitions in Irish golf gets underway today.

The 115th South of Ireland Championship at Lahinch Golf club teed off this morning with a 36-hole stroke play qualifier.
The winner will be crowned on Sunday.
Previous winners include Paul McGinley, Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell.
