Ennis swimmer Rory McEvoy has come second in the Irish Open Swimming 50 metre backstroke final.
He clocked a time of 25.93 seconds in Thursday’s final at the National Aquatic Centre.

McEvoy finished in the same position in the morning preliminaries but was denied each time by Larne’s Conor Ferguson who took gold.
