A new half a million euro investment in rescue equipment for Clare’s Fire Service has been hailed as transformative for the force.
Ten sets of new battery-operated rescue equipment have been provided for the service to use during call outs.

It comes after the local authority announced that the project to deliver a new Ennis Fire Station headquarters has moved to the next stage following the appointment of a design team.
Clare County Council’s Chief Fire Officer, Adrian Kelly, says the new sets of equipment will be far more efficient than those they are replacing.
