Clare were dealt their third consecutive defeat in Division 1A of the National Hurling League by Wexford this afternoon.
Spurred on by the return of star man Lee Chin, the Leinster side registered a 1-23 to 1-17 success.

A bright start, which saw Tony Kelly raise a green flag for the first score of the game had Clare five points to the good early on.
However, Wexford roared back into the game to lead at the break, before Seamus Casey raided for a goal for a second half goal for the visitors, on their way to a six point victory.
