Clare’s Ladies Footballers are preparing to get their All Ireland Intermediate Championship underway this weekend.
They play their first game in the competition under new manager James Murrihy when they take on Down in Kinnegad.

Clare reached the final in 2016 before losing to Kildare while the season came to an end last year with defeat to Meath at the quarter final stage.
They’ve already put silverware on the board with a Munster Final win over Limerick last month and Murrihy says that game helped them sharpen up ahead of the All Ireland series.
