A Clare teenager has been crowned All Ireland U-16 boxing champion.
Kilfenora Boxing club member Louis Griffin captured the 54kg title with an unanimous victory over Ulster champion, Nojas Samatakas from Portadown.

The North Clare man beat two former Irish champions en route to the final.
Last year saw Griffin represent Ireland at the Carpathian Cup tournament in Poland, along with winning the All Ireland title at the Youth championships.
