One of the newest clubs in the county will host over 70 competitors for an intercounty boxing event this weekend.
St Michael’s Golden Gloves boxing club is based in Miltown Malbay, and was formed 12 months ago in the West Clare town.

This Sunday will see them host an exhibition event, with youth boxers from across the province competing across the day.
Founding member Laurence Murray says it is great to see the club continue to grow.
