Clare’s senior hurlers played well for a long time on Sunday against Waterford according to one of their joint managers.
Goals from Tony Kelly and Colin Guilfoyle, and six points from Diarmuid Ryan, had Clare on the front foot in Dungarvan on their way to a 2-20 to 3-16 victory.

They had to survive two late Waterford goals but held on to book a Munster League Final meeting with Tipperary next Sunday.
Donal Moloney says that overall, it was a good exercise.
