The Harty Cup quarter-finals begin this afternoon and while no Clare sides are in action, some of the county’s young talents are still in the chase to capture the top prize in Munster schools hurling.
Barry Fitzpatrick of Sixmilebridge, Colin Crehan of O’Callaghans Mills and Clonlara’s Michael O’Loughlin are all expected to feature for Ardscoil Ris as they face Doon CBS.
Four more Clonlara players Paraic O’Loughlin, Ian Galvin, Fionn Larkin and Sean MOriarty – form part of the school’s panel, along with Parteen pair Cian McCarthy and Kevin McGlennon, as well as Ronan Broderick of the Mills.
The match in Bruff throws in at 1:30.
Also today, in the other two quarter finals taking place this afternoon, Dungarvan Colleges play Blackwater and Our Lady’s Templemore take on Middleton CBS
