The new CEO of the Munster council Simon Moroney has revealed he will be stepping down as Chairman of the Central Competitons Control Commitee in order to fulfill his duties with the provincial body.

Moroney has been appointed on a temporary basis until the end of September but has told Clare FM that as a result of gaa rules he cannot serve as chairman of the CCCC and provincial secretary at the same time.
