A spokesperson for Clare GAA has confirmed to Clare FM they had no choice but to fix both Clare Senior Football Semi Finals for Sunday September 25th.

It means the games will clash with Clare's All Ireland Ladies Intermediate Football Final in Croke Park, with several people expressing disappointment at the move.
A post on the Clare Ladies Facebook page said it was disappointing move which would force clubs and families to choose between travelling to support their county or club team, with others calling for the decision to be reconsidered
However, a spokeperson has said that clubs requested to play the semi finals on Sunday the 25th, leaving the CCC no other choice but to fix them for that date.
