There was eight games up for decision in the Clare Cup on Saturday.
In Division 1A, Kilmaley played host to O’Callaghans Mills and narrowly beat them following a second half resurgence. Full time score there was Kilmaley 1-23, the Mills 3-14.
Elsewhere in 1A, Inagh/Kilnamona traveled to Sixmilebridge for what would be a draw, the final score there 1-20 each.
In 1B, Ballyea beat Smith O’Briens 20 points to 1-14 while Whitegate took a 3-13 to 1-12 win over Scariff at home.
In the two evening games, Eire Og took a comfortable 3-21 to 0-11 win over Wolfe Tones, while at the same time a goal gave Tulla the edge over Clarecastle – the final score there 1-15 to 0-15.
In Division 2, Corofin took a 4-17 to 2-13 win over Parteen, while Bodyke lost by a single point to Cratloe – full time score there was 2-17 to 2-18.
