All Ireland Champions Clare have booked their place in the Waterford Crystal Cup Final.
Davy Fitzgerald’s side with a comprehensive 27 point victory over UCC this afternoon in Sixmilebridge.
The holders led by 1-10 to 1-03 at half time, with the first half goal from a Colin Ryan penalty.
The banner selectors make several changes in the second half, and pushed on to close it out with a final score of 2-28 to 1-04, the second half green flag raised after a Davy O’Halloran shot to the back of the net.
Who Clare meet in the final is still not known as the other semi final between Tipperary and UL due to be played in Nenagh today was postponed as the pitch was unplayable.
That refixture has yet to be decided.
