The Clare man who helped establish a GAA club over 7000km from home is encouraging travelling Banner natives to join up with his Canadian based outfit.
Former Kilmaley hurler Eamon Bracken is a founding member of the Vancouver Wolfe Tones hurling club, which came into existence in 2023.

Almost all Clare natives will line out with the club this year, including players from Kilmaley, Newmarket, Clarecastle, Tulla, Broadford and Doora Barefield.
Bracken says having a familiar face to welcome people to their new surroundings is something that helps settle in their new arrivals.
