Rory Best has been named in the Irish team for Saturdays World cup quarter final with Wales despite remaining a doubt with a shoulder injury, he’ll face a fitness test tomorrow and a final decision will be made 48 hours before the game.
The rest of the team also remains unchanged to the side that beat Italy last weekend with Ronan O’Gara and Connor Murray in the half backs.
Rob Kearney starts at full back with Tommy Bowe and Keith Earls on the wings and Brian O’Driscol and Gordon D’Arcy in the centre while Cian Healy, Rory Best and Mike Ross are named in the front row with Donnacha O’Callaghan and Paul O’Connell in the second row, Stephen Ferris, Sean O’Brien and Jamie Heaslip complete the back row.
On the bench it’s Sean Cronin, Tom Court, Donnacha Ryan , Denis Leamy , Eoin Reddan , Jonathan Sexton and Andrew Trimble.
