Clare have been defeated in their Tier 3 Minor Football Championship Quarter Final this afternoon.
Joe Hayes’ troops made the trip to Tubbercurry to take on Sligo, following their Munster Final defeat to Kerry on Monday evening.

Clare made a bright start at led by a point just on the stroke of half time, however Sligo hit the net in first half injury time to take a 1-5 to 1-4 lead into the break.
The hosts pushed on from their netting a second en route to a 2-10 to 1-6 victory.
