Avenue United will find out their opponents in the fifth round of the FAI Junior Cup this afternoon.
The Ennis outfit are the only Clare side left in the last 32 of this year’s competition, with last year’s runners up St Michael’s among those also still in the hunt.
David Russell’s side ensured they would go into the winter break as Premier Division leaders with a 2-0 win over Kilkishen Celtic.
Russell was pleased with the result, but not the performance.
