There’s a great night of live folk and traditional music coming up at Kenny’s Bar in Lahinch, and joining Alan Morrissey was a trio whose sound brings together the best of Irish and American folk traditions.
Saltaire features singer and cellist Kaitlin Cullen-Verhauz, guitarist Ian Kinsella, and bodhrán and bouzouki player Conor Lyons.
With their haunting melodies, beautiful musicianship and rich storytelling, they’ve been making quite an impression on the contemporary Irish folk scene, following the release of their acclaimed debut EP, Only Moonlight.
They’ve performed with some of the best-known names in Irish traditional music, and their own music is now taking them to audiences across Europe, Australia and the United States.
