Hundreds of thousands of people descended on Co. Carlow for the three days of the National Ploughing Championships last week.
Among them was Pat Flynn, reporting for Clare FM – and in this week’s Farm Focus podcast, he brings us a flavour of the action from there (from 4:30).
Also at the Ploughing, and on this week’s Farm Focus, was Nick Swallow who is New Zealand’s Trade Commissioner to London.
He has a chat with us about his experience of the ploughing here and what he feels Irish and Kiwi farmers can learn from each other (from 12:00).
This week’s podcast also sees Pat Clarke from Teagasc in Athenry return with some general farming advice (1:00).
