Breast cancer researchers will discuss advances being made in the fight against breast cancer at a free event in the Lakeside Hotel in Killaloe on Wednesday, October 25, presented by the Pink Ribbon Walk, Killaloe. Gavin spoke to Community Fund Raiser with the Irish Cancer Society, Lorraine Toner about the importance of fundraising events to fund cancer research and Michelle Lowry, a researcher with BREAST-PREDICT spoke of her work advancing the treatment for breast cancer.
