80 Adults Now Living Homeless In Clare

There was a net exit of just three households from homelessness in Clare last month.

The latest monthly figures from the Department of Housing show 80 adults were recorded as homeless in this county at the end of March, down from 83 in February.

Across the MidWest, which consists of counties Clare and Limerick only for recording purposes, 478 adults and 160 children are now living in emergency accommodation.

Nationally, there was a new monthly record of 13,866 people recorded as homeless in March, including over 4,100 children.
