On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Séamus Mac Mathúna and Dr Pádraig Ó Cearbhaill to discuss the upcoming fourth annual Irish-Language festival, Éigse Thomáis Uí Aodha. The festival will to be held this weekend by Oidhreacht an Chláir in Miltown Malbay.
The festival is held in memory of Tomás Ó hAodha, a major literary and cultural figure at the time of the Gaelic renaissance and a Miltown native. A variety of events will be held throughout the festival to celebrate the life of Tomás.
