Vincent McMahon
Brookville Avenue, Clareview, Limerick and formerly of Blackwater, Ardnacrusha, Co. Clare, who passed away peacefully, aged 76, in University Hospital Limerick on Sunday, 21st June 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Vincent will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his devoted life partner of 32 years, Patricia, with whom he shared many years of companionship, happiness and love; by his daughter Yvonne and son Colm; by their mother Mary; and by his son-in-law Ger and daughter-in-law Gillian.
A proud and devoted grandfather, Vincent adored his grandchildren Moya, Keeva, Áine, Olivia and Hugo, who brought great joy and happiness to his life.
Vincent also held a very special place in the lives of Patricia’s children, Lizette, Sinéad and Maurice, their spouses and her cherished grandchildren Gavin, Craig, Aimee, Sam and Ben. Over the years, they shared many treasured memories together and became a much-loved part of his extended family.
He is sadly missed by his brothers Tony and Jim, his sisters Moira (Scanlan) and Francis (McGrath), brothers in law, and sister in law, his nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of loyal and lifelong friends.
A proud Ardnacrusha man, Vincent had a lifelong passion for Shannon and Munster Rugby and Clare GAA and greatly enjoyed following the teams throughout his life.
Vincent will be remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, kindness, companionship, and for the many friendships and connections he made over a life well lived.

Vincent will repose in Mc Mahon’s Funeral Home, Blackwater on Wednesday 24th June from 5pm to 7pm.
Arriving for funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Parteen on Thursday 25th June at 12:30pm followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 3pm.
Funeral Mass can be viewed live online. The Cremation service can be viewed live on the Shannon Crematorium website.
