Late of Tulla Road, Ennis Co Clare and Tuam Co, Galway. 27th of April 2026, peacefully and with great dignity and grace under the excellent care of the staff of the Holly Unit, St Joseph’s Hospital, Ennis, by the side of her devoted husband Dermot.
Tireless advocate for carers, for women and all those deserving of support. Loving mother and grandmother; singer, pianist and lover of music.
Treasured daughter of the late Tom and Eileen Ryan of Tuam, Co Galway. Beloved wife of Dermot. Cherished sister of Brendan, Majella (Giles) and the late Des Ryan; and sister-in-law to Joyce, Sharon, Morú, Emmanuel, Pat, and to the late Michael and Niall. Inspirational mother of Síofra (Harrington), Des, Diarmuid and Eimear. Much loved mother-in-law of Caroline, Don, Paul and Aidan. Will be much missed by her loving husband and children, her adored grandchildren CaraÍosa, Lara, Peter, Lilly, Rachel, Mary, Róise, Éanna, Eilí, Coen and Tom, her relatives and friends.

Reposing this Friday Evening May 1st at Daly’s Mortuary Chapel, Francis Street, Ennis, V95AE63 from 5.30pm to 7pm. Arriving for Funeral Mass on Saturday May 2nd at 10.30am at St. Joseph’s Church, Lifford Road, Ennis, V95KF97. Cremation will follow at Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland or Clare Care.
