It’s claimed a disproportionate number of Clare households are struggling due to low pay and a lack of worker’s rights.
It comes ahead of a Private Members Bill set to be tabled by Sinn Féin tonight.

The motion will call for the immediate introduction of the living wage and a legal right for all employees to access collective bargaining through unions.
Shannon Sinn Féin TD Donna McGettigan says the measures should’ve been implemented long ago.
