Elizabeth (Lily) Garrihy (née O’Brien)
Carraig Lia, Shannon and Baltard, Doonbeg.
Died peacefully in the loving care of Foxrock Nursing Home following a short illness, bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family on the 7th May.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Colman, her brothers, Jim, Joseph and Donal, and sister, Margaret.
Deeply regretted by her cherished sons, Damien and Donal, and daughter, Jacinta. Lovingly remembered by her daughters-in-law, Miriam and Meng, and son-in-law, Dermot, and her eight adored grandchildren, Fiona, Aaron, Jane, Luke, Patrick, Aisling, Clodagh and Grace. Sadly missed by her sisters, Maura (Hurley) and Sinéad (Golden), brothers, Michael and Anthony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives, and many good friends.
May Lily’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Lily will repose in Mc Mahon’s Funeral Home, Shannon on Monday 11th May from 5:30pm to 7pm. Arriving for funeral Mass in Our Lady Assumed into Heaven Church, Doonbeg on Tuesday 12th May at 12noon followed by burial afterwards in Church Hill Graveyard, Ennistimon.
