Cannabis valued at approximately €2 million has been seized in Clare.
The seizure was made today as a result of an intelligence-led joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue’s Customs Service along with the Clare Divisional Drugs Unit.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and is currently detained at a garda station in Clare under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
