Young Man Dies From Injuries Sustained In Shannon Crash

A young man has died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle collision in Shannon last weekend.

The man in his early twenties was seriously injured after the electric scrambler bike he was travelling on was involved in a collision at Bóthar Na Luachra shortly after 11.30 on Saturday night.

He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick where he died from his injuries yesterday.

Gardaí have issued a renewed appeal to any road users who may have camera footage, including dash cam, to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
