A Status Yellow Wind Warning is in place for Clare this morning as Storm Ciarán looks set to batter the country.
The low level alert has also been issued for Kerry and Galway.

Met Eireann is advising the public to prepare for the possibility of localised flooding and potentially hazardous driving conditions such as poor visibility and wave overtopping in coastal areas.
The notice will remain in place until at least 11am.
