A west Clare man will set out to cycle across America next month to raise vital funds for both Sláinte an Chláir and Hughes House.
Paddy Kelly will begin his journey from San Diego, California on the 19th of September and will cover 3,000 miles in 35 days, finishing in St. Augustine, Florida.

He previously completed a charity bike ride around every county in Ireland and has also ridden the length of Britain from Land’s End to John o’ Groats.
Paddy says it’ll be a challenging task given temperatures are likely to hit the mid-thirties during the day.
