Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Shannon.
The injured party was struck in the mouth by a pellet fired from a pellet gun by a male youth.

The incident happened at around 4pm last Friday at Radharc Doire.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have information about the youth involved, is asked to contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365 900.
