Water To Be Restored In Carrigaholt In Coming Hours After Outage

Irish Water says it expects water to be restored to Carrigaholt and its surrounding areas in the next number of outages.

It’s after the utility completed repairs to a burst water main yesterday which is believed to have impacted on supply.

Dedicated water service crews were mobilised and repairs were completed this morning, with Irish Water telling Clare FM this lunchtime that it can take ‘two to three hours after this’ to restore normal supply to all customers.

They say they ‘appreciate’ customers’ patience in the Carrigaholt area and understand the ‘inconvenience’ unplanned outages can cause.

Irish Water has completed repairs to a burst in a water main in Carrigaholt yesterday which impacted on supply to Doonaha, Carrigaholt, Querrin, Rahona, Lisheen and surrounding areas.

Dedicated water service crews were mobilised and repairs were completed this morning. However, it can typically it takes two to three hours after this to restore normal supply to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.
