North Clare is expected to experience a wave of spending, craic and ceoil this weekend as a community festival dating back to the 1820’s gets back into full swing.
The three day Tubber Fair commences this Friday and runs until Sunday and will have everything from traditional sheep fair and family competitions, live music and traditional sessions.

The event will aslo aim to raise much-needed funds for Tubber, Boston and Lurga National Schools.
Co-owner of The Burren Inn Niamh Baker says they’ve created a healthy competition to complement the occasion.
