Bed nights are set to be doubled at a Clare children’s respite centre.
As part of a €25m investment in respite services nationwide, the Hazeldine facility in Barefield will have capacity to provide 1,400 bed nights by the end of this year.

Additionally, there will also be enhancements to services operated by Corlann in Miltown Malbay, Shannon and Kilrush.
Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Cooney wants to see further investment in outreach services as well.
